Dear Academic Community,
We are thrilled to invite you to the WWDIM/DIGME panel, hosted by the DocsWithDisabilities Initiative and the University of Michigan Center for Disability Health and Wellness, in partnership with a myriad of organizations, including the AAMC.
The aim of this event, which is offered at no cost to participants, is to provide ancillary, scaled support for women with disabilities transitioning from undergraduate medical education (UME) to graduate medical education (GME) through an insightful mentorship panel.
As the number of students and residents with disabilities entering medical education continues to rise, mentorship becomes crucial for their success. In this UME to GME webinar panel, leaders and learners will share their invaluable insights into navigating the medical school-to-residency pathway, thriving as a resident with a disability, and addressing the unique challenges that often disproportionately impact women.
Join us for an engaging discussion on supporting WWDIM and promoting inclusivity in GME. Your presence will contribute to fostering a supportive community for all.
