Are you passionate about shaping the future of career and technical education (CTE) in DC? If you are, consider being a volunteer for our 2025 DC Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) State Leadership Conference (SLC), hosted by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) on March 11-12, 2025, at the University of the District of Columbia.
About the Conference
We are excited to host over 1000 CTE students and staff from across the District at our annual conference. Our 2025 theme, "DC CTSO Commanders: Strength, Scholarship, and Service," celebrates the leadership, skills, and dedication of students as they explore diverse career pathways and opportunities. The DC CTSO State Leadership Conference will feature engaging workshops, skill-based competitions, and professional development experiences to prepare students for success in their chosen industries.
Students from DC's Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)-FBLA, FFA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, and TSA-will showcase their talents alongside DC government agencies, postsecondary institutions, industry partners, and other CTE leaders. Together, we'll create a dynamic environment that highlights the strength and potential of DC's future workforce. This is where you come in!
