    Humans need connection to other humans. Remember Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs? Love and belonging are nearly as essential as physiological and safety needs.

    This great blog post suggests 6 ways to feel more connected to others:

    1. Surround yourself with people with shared interests
    2. Overcome your resistance to change or fear of rejection
    3. Smile and try a positive attitude (put your best self forward)
    4. Open up to others, allow yourself to be vulnerable
    5. Don’t hide in your phone
    6. Stay in touch, nurture your connections and relationships
