    Hello all! As we approach the new year, I have been reflecting on personal highlights of 2025 and goals for further growth and development for the coming year. At Learn Serve Lead 2025: The Annual Meeting, I had the great fortune to talk with AAMC Board Chair Julie Freischlag, MD, about our "whys" – the moments that have inspired and motivated us across our long medical careers and continue to help us keep going. I always learn from Julie and am moved by her great compassion for her patients.  

    I hope this conversation inspires you to reflect on your own whys this season. What is your North Star? What experiences, memories, and people motivate you and give you energy and optimism for the future? I invite you to share your story below.
